Xcel Wire Rope Grip Standard Galvanised 8mm

Wire rope grips are used for forming an eye in the end of steel wire rope, with or without a thimble to support the rope structure, this is a cost effective and simple way of securing clothesline wire, low load bearing tow cables etc. Not to be used with heavy hoisting. Grips should be applied evenly in line with non twisted cable (i.e cable placed side by side or top and bottom), nuts tightened evenly (do not over tighten and crush the cable), and designed for a permanent application. Galvanised steel construction providing excellent corrosion resistance. For use with 8mm (5/16″) wire rope. Loose.
